At Covely Finance, we believe your financial data is yours and yours alone. Our "Local-Only" philosophy is the foundation of everything we build. We operate with a zero-cloud, zero-tracking, and zero-data-collection architecture.
Covely does not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal financial data. All information you enter into the application, including transactions, bank balances, and investment holdings, is stored exclusively on your local device in a high-performance local database. We do not have a cloud component and we do not track your behavior within the app.
We do not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or link your identity to the application. Your identity remains anonymous to us. Because we do not collect your data, we have nothing to sell, share, or disclose to third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.
Covely provides tools to help you protect your local data, including biometric security (TouchID/FaceID) and AES-256-GCM encryption for backups. However, the ultimate security of your local data depends on the security of your device.
Like all apps on the Mac App Store, we may receive anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (such as crash reports or download counts) provided by Apple if you have opted-in to sharing that data with developers. This data does not contain any personal financial information.
